Every wedding day looks a little different, but having a thoughtful timeline helps everything flow smoothly and keeps the day feeling relaxed.
When building your timeline, start by thinking through the key parts of your day:
- Where is everything taking place?
- Where is everyone getting ready?
- Do you plan on having a first look?
- How long is your ceremony?
- Will you have a cocktail hour?
- Will you have a receiving line?
- Do your venues have any time restrictions or curfews?
Some locations, especially churches, may require you to exit by a certain time, which can impact photos.
