We first met Kara the summer of 2017 when she shot our engagement photos, and then later that year our wedding. Kara went above and beyond that day, keeping us on schedule, making sure I got pictures with my fur baby, and she even had to play hairdresser for me. Since then we have scheduled at least one session with her every year. Then in 2020 we met Jason and Awe Photography was created. From day one Jason has been a great addition. He’s gotten my children to smile for pictures when nobody else could, and he knows how to lighten the mood, pictures with kids can be hard, but together Kara and Jay make it fun. Fast forward to this year, we recently had a session with Jason and Kara and we laughed the whole time! They have become real genuine friends, there for every season of our life. Not only behind the camera capturing so many of our precious memories for us, but also in a kind message or a phone call to get you through a tough day. Maybe that isn’t the same experience everyone else has had, but it does paint a picture of the type of people that they are. Awe photography has watched our family grow, and made me feel beautiful in some of the most vulnerable moments of my life. I can’t thank them enough. We loved having Kara and Jason photograph our wedding. My husband and I are not the most photogenic, yet we are so in love with our wedding pictures. All of the love and laughter was captured from that day, and we have looked through the pictures so many times!
