Our Story

Where it all started:

Ten years ago, my photography journey began with a deep passion and relentless drive, fueled by my two little ones who are my world. However, life threw unexpected challenges my way when I faced medical issues that prevented me from having more children at just 23 years old. It was in those dark moments that photography became a lifeline for me. I started capturing precious moments of my kids, and one thing led to another, leading me to the incredible opportunity of photographing your special moments too.

The story of us: 

On September 7th, 2019, while I was photographing a wedding for a close friend, I met Jason, the love of my life. We complete each other in countless ways, and Jason has embraced the role of being a bonus dad with grace and love. Just a few weeks into dating, destiny had a surprise in store for us. My second shooter for a wedding fell ill the night before, and Jason stepped up without hesitation, saying, "Teach me everything I need to know in a 3-hour car ride!" And so, our adventure together began.

On October 14th, 2019, Jason got down on one knee at the fireplace in Holland and asked me to be his partner in life. (If you've never experienced the romance of downtown Holland and its fireplace, put it on your couple's to-do list!) We tied the knot in a small, intimate wedding on February 16th, 2020. It wasn't our original plan, but it was perfect for us. We then had a second wedding on 9/19/2020, which will forever be our anniversary. (Brides, we understand the stress, as we have walked in your shoes!)

The Husband and Wife Team:

As you can see, our journey as a husband and wife team wasn't intentional, but it fits us perfectly. We cherish being together, embracing new adventures and challenges side by side. After our first wedding shoot together, becoming a husband and wife team was a no-brainer.

Weddings and couples are our absolute favorite to capture. We adore the raw, genuine moments that unfold organically in life. Weddings are brimming with emotions - moments that make you laugh or cry tears of pure happiness. Our goal is to capture every second of your engagement session and wedding, fully understanding and thriving off these precious moments. They make us who we are as a couple and who we know you are as a couple. With our outrageous personalities and fun-loving attitudes, we are easygoing, reliable, and committed to making your day enjoyable, memorable, and above all, fun. This passion also extends to our other sessions, as we are truly invested in capturing your special moments, together.
